God is very organized

God is so organized. Do you ever think about that? He is the most organized Person you will ever meet. He is more organized than all the most organized people in the world combined. All of the ones who have walked the earth. He knows what He is doing. He knows how to do what He needs to do. When He says that He knows the plans He has for you, He means it and He is right. Now, what would you worry about your life when you put it in His hands? Why worry about what is going to happen in your life when the most organized One is in charge of your life? He knows everything there is to know about your life. He knows every second of every minute of every day of your life. When you put all your trust in Him, you put all your trust in the One who can give you the best life ever. He knows what difficulties you are facing and He knows the ones that are coming. He knows the joys of today and the sorrow of tomorrow. He knows the peace you will experience months from now and He knows the sadness you will be subjected to in the weeks to come. That said, nothing can stop Him from blessing you and from carrying on the great plan He has for you. Remember that trials and tribulations don’t change God’s plans. He is so organized that He has joy for your sorrow, peace for your trouble and love for the hate you will encounter.

For every bad plan of the enemy there is a better plan from the Lord. His all inclusive plan has favor, blessings, breakthroughs, miracles and more in it. Keep in mind that His plan will always counterbalance the negativity in your life. His plan is detailed and well organized and it is going to follow you your whole life. The bad breaks can seem like awful interruptions but they are not messing up the well-organized plan of the Lord. Sometimes they enhance the plan by underlining God’s goodness in your life. We are not always aware of God’s love and power in our lives until something bad happens and our eyes are opened to the goodness of God. I have countless stories about how the Lord has saved the day and how He has blessed me in the middle of a living hell. God’ well-organized plan has triumphed over and over again and my faith has allowed His plan to be more transparent to me. I understand that God’s timing is not the same as my timing but it doesn’t mean that God messes up and He forgets about me. It doesn’t mean He is disorganized. It means that His ways are higher than my ways and He has the best plan all the time even when it looks bad to me. God orchestrated everything way before the enemy put hurdles on our journey.

God is very organized and He wants you and me to trust Him with the details of our lives. He doesn’t want us to panic and fear. He wants us to let go and let Him be in control. Every day we should tell Him that we are thankful for His protection, His love, His blessings and His detailed plan for our lives. We should say that to Him as much as possible. He is leading us in the right direction and that is something we should believe in. I have had experiences where I thought God had left me and I thought I had to fend for myself. Then the Holy Spirit brings me back to God’s reality and I see how God has been there the whole time and how His great plan is working out. God doesn’t make mistakes. God doesn’t create chaos. He is organized and He is perfect. He is perfect! Your life might be less than perfect but you have a God who is and He can make things right. His plan is to prosper you and to bless you. His plan is working. His plan is fully functioning and it is for you, friend. Stay in the Lord. Stay encouraged. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God has something better

“God has something better” I was once told when I was disappointed because I didn’t get a job I had applied for. At the time, hearing that didn’t really help. I loved the sentiment behind that statement but I couldn’t see it. I couldn’t picture anything better than the job I wanted. That job sounded great. It was a perfect opportunity and I was a great fit. At least that is what I thought. The thing is, God knows us better than we know ourselves. God knows everything about us and He knows everything in general. He knows how we will react, how we will act in all situations and He knows for sure if something is good for us or not. I was so attached to the idea that this was my dream job that I didn’t consider God’s will. My will mattered more and I was foolish to think that I knew better than God. Not getting that job wasn’t a punishment. It was a redirection and a blessing in disguise. God had something better for me and when I got the job He had planned for me, I understood the blessing.

Friend, today it is my turn to tell you that God has something better for you. Not only is it better but it is also His will. God has a beautiful plan for your life and every part of it was nicely put together. What you need to do is keep the faith and keep believing even when your emotions are telling you to give up and to throw in the towel. Things can look very bad after a rejection and a disappointment. However, it is important to not dwell on the disappointment. Make your way back to God. Don’t let those feelings drag you down and take you into a state of despair and depression. Not getting what you want is never fun but remember that the closed door means you need to go to another place. Don’t stay in front of that closed door and hope for it to open. Don’t sit in front of that door staring at it ignoring what God has for you. I was recently telling a friend that God opens doors but He does much more. He opens landscapes for us. He places valleys and hills of blessings in front of us when we trust Him. Don’t worry about the closed doors. Landscapes of opportunities are available in the name of Jesus.

What you find in a huge valley is much more than what you can find behind a door. A valley has no walls that restrict it. There is a vast area with so many things to discover. God has that for you, friend. It is a lot better than what you were going to get behind that door. Your plan was to live within the compound of an opportunity when God has an open space of opportunities with blessings galore. Don’t limit your God. He has a lot more than you can imagine so get on His wavelength. Dream big and keep dreaming. Dream and let Him direct the dreams. Let Him orchestrate what He wants for your life. It is a lot better than what your mind can create. God will always have something good for you. Your faith will get you that something good. God is good and generous and He is always willing to pour His blessings upon your life. If you are going through a heartbreak or a disappointment, don’t worry. The shower of blessings of the Lord will be here soon. It is the kind of storm that you want in your life. You should also keep in mind that as a follower of the Lord, you should follow His lead and trust that where you are going now is where you are meant to go. Thinking back about the job I wanted and the job I have now, I can see that I can do more for the Lord in my current position. We are vessels of His love and we should be ready and willing to pour His love wherever He wants us to be. You will be blessed in the city and in the country. God’s blessings are chasing you down. Something better is coming. Stay in faith. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Take it back

“The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy.”* The thief is the devil, the enemy. His only function is to mess up lives and to do negative things. He is a thief and he will try to take your peace, your joy and your faith. He will try to steal happy moments and times of celebration. He doesn’t want you and me to pray. He doesn’t want you and me to praise and worship. He doesn’t want you and me to be blessed or to recognize our blessings. He wants to steal anything that God gives us. He wants to be the one who creates the worst times in our lives so that the best times are taken out of our memories. He takes and takes and he doesn’t stop. Today I want to encourage you to take back what the devil has stolen. I want you to stand up and claim what is rightfully yours in the name of Jesus. The thief might be around stealing, destroying and killing but Jesus said that He came to give us life and to give it to us more abundantly.

Jesus is the opposite of the thief. He came to give, to restore and to bring life. Whatever the enemy has taken from you is not gone forever. Meditate on that truth! Jesus can give you back what was taken from you and more. How do you get it back? How do you reverse the destruction? Faith is what it takes. Take back the peace. Take back the joy. Take back the blessings with faith. You can make the right declarations that will shut up the enemy. You can make the right confessions that will restore what was stolen. You can stand in faith and not let the enemy have the final say. You can take back the power with the power of your words. You can take back the power with the power of love. You can take back the power with the power of hope. Jesus came to give you what you need. Jesus came to give you life more abundantly. That life is yours, friend. It is yours no matter what havoc the enemy is wreaking in your life. Things might be gloom and sad but you can take back the atmosphere with the power of your faith and the singing of your praises.

Praise can be underrated because it is not what we feel like doing when things are in shambles. However, praise will take back what the devil has stolen because praise focuses on Jesus. Praise rises above the pain and above the trials and tribulations. Praise is extremely powerful when it is maintained and when it is heartfelt. Your amazing Savior inhabits your praise, friend. Praise Him today. Praise Him for giving you life and giving it to you more abundantly. Take back the power with praise. Take back the joy with praise. Don’t let the enemy rob you of your precious relationship with Jesus. Take that back. Rebuild that relationship if it has gone stale. Rebuild that relationship if the passion of it has been taken from you. Keep praying. Keep praising. Keep taking back what the enemy has removed from your life. Know that moments of peace might have been killed but Jesus will resurrect your joy and it will be stronger than before. Jesus will resurrect opportunities, blessings, breakthroughs and more just for you. Hold tight. Hold on a little longer. Stay in faith. Stay with Jesus. Your faith will give you back what you have lost. Stay encouraged! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

10 nuggets of wisdom for your Saturday (Part 228)

Let God words be louder than the words of the world. Listen to His words at the highest volume possible by staying in the Word.

God can give you faith without borders. Faith that can take you places with no limitations. That faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God.

They say that every day is a gift but you have to make sure that your wrap every day with Jesus. Let Him cover you and your circumstances all day by trusting Him all day.

Faith gives you God’s tunnel vision. In that tunnel anything is possible. In that tunnel miracles abound. In that tunnel there is no lack, no fear and no doubt. In that tunnel God is in control.

The more you walk in faith, the more you are a threat to the enemy. The more you walk in love, the more you are a threat to the enemy. The more you pray, then more you are a threat to the email. The more you praise, the more you are a threat to the email. Be a threat to the enemy daily in the name of Jesus!

God shouldn’t be your second best. He should be your first asset. He is the power behind all your victories!

Go with what God has to say about your situation. What seems impossible is always possible with God!

Send fear packing. Don’t let it enter you. Don’t entertain it. Don’t argue with it. Don’t give it an audience. Constantly speak faith against fear and it will run away.

This week the Lord is not going to leave your side. He is going to walk with you, talk to you and listen to you. Acknowledge Him in all you do!

God’s love is the reason why you are here. You are loved and you count. God so loved you that He gave His Son for you. Keep that in mind!

Time to review your views of God

A view is an opinion, a perspective or a perception. What are your views on life? What are your views on God? What are your views on hope? We have so many views that can change based on our life experiences. We go through a tough time and our vision of God can be diminished or amplified. Our views matter and we need to take the time to review them and to work on them if need be. Our views of the Lord are extremely important. They help form our faith and they mold our thinking when it comes to our relationship with Him. Without faith it is impossible to connect with God. We have to believe in Him to be able to interact with Him but what is He like in our minds? What does He do? What is He like? What does He think about us? Our opinion of God influences our relationship with Him. If we think that God is a far off God who is not interested in getting to know us, we will base our faith on that misconception of God. Knocking God the best we can should be one of our lifelong goals. We should constantly move closer to Him and closer to understanding Him.

My views of God have changed quite a bit in the past few years. If I look back and think of how I viewed God as a child, I realize that my perception of Him has been completely altered for the best. I think it is a great exercise to pinpoint how we see God and to learn from the progression of our thinking. The Word of God gives us a clearer and clearer picture of who God is when we spend time in it. It is the Word and the Holy Spirit that give meaning to our views of God. I have also found that when someone asks me what I think of God and how I see Him, it takes me a little while to formulate my thoughts but then the words just flow.  I am learning that my views are important not only for me but for others as well. How I present God is not a small thing. How I portray Him is not a small thing. God is Almighty and All-loving and my views of Him should always be filtered through His love, His mercy and His grace. Can we completely get to know God and see Him for exactly who He is? I don’t think so but our views should be in line with His Word and with His truth.

Going back to the basics of faith is something that I do from time to time and it has given me a refresher. It has reminded me of why I believe in God. It has reminded me of what God means to me and what the foundation of my faith is. I review my views of God often and it gives me a boost of faith and a boost of confidence. I love the reasons why I loved God in the first place. I love going back to my fundamental views of God and I build upon them. It is in our best interest to keep climbing the ladder of our faith through the renewing of our minds and the renewing of our views of God. There will always be more to learn and more to know. If when you review your views of God there is something that makes you doubt or that seems off, present it to the Lord. Ask Him to give you the truth and to strengthen your faith. He will work with you and bless you. Your views of God are very important. Review them every chance you get with the Word of God. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Worry and fear

Your job is not to worry. Your job is not to stay up and overthink. Your job is not to panic and walk in fear. Your job is to call on the name of Jesus. Your job is to stay grounded in the Lord. Your job is to serve the Lord and to love Him with all your heart. Your job is to stay calm and to trust that the King of kings reigns. Remember that He rules in your life. Fear, doubt and worry will always try to overthrow Him in a coup. They will not get weary and they will get inside you in many different ways. They have easy access to your mind but you can put up the barrier of faith and fend them off. You are not meant to be a victim of the enemy. You have Jesus. He rules and you should be ruling in your life with Him. You are a child of the Most High God.

Worry and fear don’t produce anything good. They are not part of the fruit of the Spirit and yet we find comfort in them at times because not worrying and not fearing would be abnormal we think. We need to change our thinking and renew our minds. Worry and fear are not our friends and they don’t serve us at all. Every time they show up we should rebuke them and we should not accept them. They are not good for us on all levels. Every time we help ourselves to a dose of fear and worry, we swallow poison. They are very bad for our spiritual well-being. They gnaw on our faith and they take the place of what pleases the Lord. Don’t settle for worry and fear. They are not natural in the Kingdom of God and you belong to the Kingdom.

I recently went through something that caused a lot of stress and some fear. However, I denounced fear and worry and banned them. I don’t want garbage in my house and that is what they are. I pushed them out of my dwelling place by calling on the name of Jesus. I didn’t want anything to keep me from going to bed and to keep me from having the joy of the Lord. I was driving home one day when those negative feelings did their best to get ahold of me. I did not accept them. I quietly declared victory in Jesus. Within a few minutes I saw myself in the light of joy and my spirit was filled with intense peace. That peace only comes from Jesus and I have to tell you it allowed me to fight worry and fear. Call on the name of Jesus, friend, even when everything seems lost. God always has a way.

The Lord is holding your hand and He is not letting you go. Worry and fear should not stand between you and the Lord. Don’t hold hands with them and hold God’s hand at the same time. The hand that is holding the negativity might pull you in the wrong direction if you passively hold on to fear and worry. Talk to them. Command them to leave. It will make a difference. Don’t let them be a part of your day. Jesus is the biggest and the best part of your day and He deserves your full attention. Worry and fear are not for you. They are not welcome and they are not giving you anything positive. Hold on to Jesus. Turn to Him. Call upon His name. Resist worry and fear and they will run away. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

10 nuggets of wisdom for your Saturday (Part 227)

There are blessed days ahead of you that the Lord has already planned. What you are going through today will not take away from the blessings that are to come. Stay encouraged! God will have the final say!

Jesus is the only doorway. He is the only One who can get you into the land of blessings and out of trouble. He is the way, the only way and today He is opening doors that you had never seen before. Trust in the way maker!

Fear can be like boiling water and you can be scared by how hot it gets. Faith is like a breeze of fresh air that cools down the heat of your fear. Sprinkle faith all over your fears with the Word of God and you will be calm and composed again.

God is listening to you. God is all ears but He also want you to pay attention to what He has to say. He is vocal in His Word. He is vocal during prayer. He is vocal in places you would expect. He has a beautiful voice and it is time you gave Him in audience on the regular.

Running the race before you. It is just for you. It is meant to stimulate you and to encourage you. It’s not a race against the world. It’s a race within the Word. Keep running through the promises of the Lord.

The answer is in your praise. How much do you praise the Lord? How much do tou celebrate Jesus? The answer to your prayers is in your praise. Praise Him more than you overthink. Celebrate Him more than you have pity party. It will change your life!

Praise God like your life depends on it because it does! A successful and blessed life in the Lord hinges on the volume of your praises and not on the noise of the enemy in your head.

Jesus has the crown of life. He put it on your head when you got saved. Don’t remove it and don’t displace it just because your mind is feeling less than royal.

Spend time in silence with the Lord. Listen to His love. It speaks louder than your doubts.

Let Jesus win your heart. Give Him all of you. Give Him the key to your deepest feelings and to your hidden thoughts. Let Him take over and you will become His imitator.

Too busy for God?

Are you too busy for God? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Do you think about what you could do to spend more time with God? I know that we hear about being with God a lot. We hear about how important it is and we don’t always realize that time spent with God is more precious than any time spent with anyone. It is more crucial to spend time with God than we spend time with family and friends. Does it mean we have to stop spending time with our family and friends? Absolutely not. We do need to have one and one time with God as much as possible. We also need to gain an awareness of God being present all the time and enjoying every moment with Him. That is a great way to spend more time with God. A lot of us have busy lives and we bury our time with God under a pile of meetings, appointments, tasks, activities and people. We are very good at occupying every minute of every day with events that keep us away from God unless we work on being conscious of His presence.

For a while when I was praying, I would often hear the Lord tell me to spend more time with Him. I would listen to Him and then I would think about all the things I had to accomplish and I would put the Lord on the back burner. It was not the right place for Him. God doesn’t deserve our second best or our leftovers. He should always be the main dish, so to speak. He should be on the front burner where our priorities are. We should reverence Him and have a burning passion and desire to be with Him as much as possible. After a long period of time, I decided to make more time for God. I asked Him for His assistance so I could see and understand how to best do this. God is so caring and so giving and He cared for me and gave me the best techniques to spend more time with Him. Like I mentioned earlier, being God-minded and God-conscious allows us to spend more time with Him. It allows us to value the present time and enjoy it with the Lord. I take “Praise breaks” during the day when I praise the Lord for being with me. I smile at Him and He smiles back. I am convinced that the Lord is always smiling at us.

I can’t be too busy for Someone who is always smiling at me. Not only is He smiling but He is also comforting and His love is glowing. Jesus has so much love for us. We can’t comprehend it all and can’t fathom it but it is deeper than the oceans and wider than the earth. Why wouldn’t we want to spend more time with the One whose love can move mountains and give us freedom? Freedom is what I experience even more when I spend time with God. There are so many burdens that try to attach themselves to us during the day. The burden of work, the burden of money, the burden of relationships, the burden of failure. You name it. All these burdens aim at bringing us down but I have found that spending time with the Lord lifts those burdens. I could be in the middle of a work project and when I talk to Jesus in my heart, He gives me peace and He carries my burdens. Let’s get in the habit of talking to the Lord and of listening to Him all day long.

Ask the Lord to show you how you can make more time for Him. Ask Him to open your eyes to what you are not seeing. You might be missing a few things that will lead you to a closer relationship with the Lord. “Busy” doesn’t cut it. Things can appear to be daunting but I assure you that the Lord can give you ways to carve time for Him into your day. You will start your day early or you will take a break in the afternoon. You will praise in your car. You will take walks. You will develop your inner prayer voice and your inner praise voice. Where there is God there is a way. You are going to find a way to spend time with God. That precious time will make your days way better. You can make your schedule work around God and not the other way around. Enjoy Jesus all day. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

The God of more than enough

If you are lacking anything today, I am here to remind you that God is a God of provision and increase. Not only can He give you what you need but He can give you more than you can imagine. He has provisions for everyone and He never comes short. God is not broke and God doesn’t lack anything. I want to encourage you to develop your faith in the God of increase, the God that is more than enough, the God that can give you much more than you can dream. God will supply your needs according to His riches in glory. Those riches are not earthly. He is not relying on the world’s resources to bless you. Think about that. God is not limited by natural resources and by the world in general. The state of the world today doesn’t dictate what God can do for you. God dictates the state of the world and puts an end to what gets in the way. The prices of gas are going up everywhere but that won’t stop the Lord from supplying the gas you need. He will make a way and He will give you what you don’t have. The food chain is going through a crisis right now. It can sound worrisome but that crisis is not going to interfere with the Lord’s plan of provision for your life. He has more than enough and He is not subject to the rules, the conditions and the circumstances of this world. Meditate on that and let your faith grow in the amazing abilities of the Lord.

I am learning that all my needs will be met and I have to keep the faith. I am not supposed to lose hope. I am not supposed to focus on what I don’t have. I am not supposed to feel sorry for myself and have a pity party because the Lord will certainly not join me in that party. I am learning that God is faithful and He stays true to His Word. However, the timing of His provision is often not the same as mine. I have my agenda and my planner and the Lord has His own agenda that is always better than my plans. Sometimes I don’t understand why God is late. The truth is that He is never late. I am often in a rush. I show up too early for my blessings when there are things that need to be worked out. I wait at the wrong door. I expect the wrong outcome. God is the God of more than enough and His intervention in my life is at the right time. Friend, God has more than enough for you and one thing He is asking you is to trust Him and to be patient. I know it’s not easy but it is always worth it. The right doors are going to open for you. The right people are going to walk into your life. The right amount of money is going to come to you and God will give you more. Don’t limit Him with your thinking. Increase Him in your mind and He will give you an increase in your life.

The God of more than enough is always willing to give and He is looking for people who are ready to walk the walk and talk the talk. Our words of faith need to be expressed all the time. We can’t speak faith one day and fear the next day. Fear will come but we should fight it and give it the boot. We can’t let fear sit around and get comfortable in our lives. Fear should have no place to stay. Fear should find all the seats in our house occupied by faith, faith in the God that is more than enough. There is so much you can hope for and believe and it is all centered around Jesus. Believe He can do more than enough. Believe He can bless you in the middle of this economic crisis. Remember that the world doesn’t influence God. God influences the world. When you walk in faith, whatever God says goes. He is saying today that He has your back and He can give you mountains of blessings where there will be no shadow of lack. Thank God for the mountains. Thank God for His provision. The God that is more than enough is your God. No one is bigger or stronger than He is. Enjoy Him and expect the best. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Did you know that there are things God wants to tell us every day? Did you know that God speaks all the time and would like for you and me to tune in as much as possible? I start my day with praise and worship and thanksgiving followed by prayer and meditation on the Lord. Sometimes things take place in a different order. Sometimes I wake up and I hear deep down inside that the Lord wants me to listen first and to focus on what He has to say. The other morning as soon as I woke up, I knew that I had to spend time listening. I knew that the Lord had something to say and it was the best time for me to tune in. I sat on my bed and rested in His presence. I sat on my bed and meditated on the Lord. A scripture came to mind. The one about not leaning on our own understanding. The word “trust” came to mind very strongly. The Lord wanted to talk to me about trust. Trusting Him is much more important than trusting ourselves, trusting our own understanding.

Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, the truth, the ability or the strength of something or someone. How much do we trust the Lord? How much do we trust the world over the Lord? We are so used to the ways of the world and the world is so present, so immediate that we tend to trust the world a lot. We tend to trust people, to trust ideas of the world, to trust trends, to trust what we see and what we hear in the world. We are programmed to trust the world because we are part of it and like I implied, it is prevalent. The world has a system that seems to work. The world has a belief system that seems legitimate and that we follow. However, the Lord tells us that we should trust Him more than we trust the world. We are in this world but we are not of this world. As Christians, we belong to Jesus. We belong with the Lord and we are connected to Him. His mind is something that we can share and His heart is what we should pursue. He doesn’t think like the world. He doesn’t act like the world. He doesn’t function like the world. We ought to trust Him and follow His lead. He is much more reliable than some of the thoughts in our heads and some of the beliefs of the world.

If you spend time asking the Lord to reveal what we should trust in, He will show you that trusting in His ability, His strength and His willingness to bless us and help us is crucial. His Word tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. Now our hearts are a dwelling place. They are a place where we can store strongholds and beliefs. They are places where we can keep love, hope, joy and peace or we can keep hatred, confusion, doubt, fear and worry. When we trust the Lord with all our hearts, we let Him fill us with His goodness, with His love, His peace, His hope and we have the firm belief that He is reliable. In meditation the other day the Holy Spirit whispered, “Trust in My love. Trust in My hope. Trust in My presence. Trust in My words. Trust in My promises. Trust in My Word and trust in My peace.” We can trust in Jesus wholeheartedly and depend on Him in everything. His love is what changes everything and it should be the very first thing we trust in. His love conquered death and everything evil that the enemy had planned for our lives. We can trust that God’s love will save the day every day all day. We can trust that His love forgives our sins and we are in right standing with Him. We can trust that when the world hates us, we have a love that never leaves us nor forsakes us. We can trust that Jesus is faithful and He will always deliver His promises. Let’s trust Him completely. Let’s work ok developing this strong trust that will cancel all doubts and worry. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, friend! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!
