Ring the bell

The ringing of the bell on Wall Street has become a tradition. It happens at the start of the day for 10 seconds and at the end of the day for 15 seconds. I have seen the ringing of the bell on tv at the end of the day. It is a symbol of a good day. I see it as a symbol of victory as well. When I woke up the other morning and I was gently sliding into prayer mode, I heard on the inside, “Ring the bell.”  I heard “Ring the bell of victory.” The Lord invites us to ring the bell. We ought to ring His bell of victory every day. We can ring it at the start of the day and at the end of the day. We always have the victory in Him. That bell is important and we should sound the alarm of victory no matter what happens during the day.

It is great to start the day on a positive note. It is great to start the day declaring that we have victory in Jesus’ name. That beautiful declaration is how we ring the bell. That powerful declaration is how we say that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. When we start the day looking at life from God’s standpoint, we walk in victory and we set ourselves up for success. It’s not always the easiest thing to do but it is always the best thing to do. At times I have to stir myself up and ring the bell even when I don’t feel like it. Ring the bell of victory first thing in the morning, friend. Set the tone and get ready to overcome the day. Great things are going to happen in Jesus’ name. Blessings and breakthroughs are going to follow you in Jesus’ name. Victory is about to take off and it is taking you on a wonderful journey. This attitude of faith is how you overcome the world. This confession of faith is what activates the hand of the Lord.

Ringing the bell is more than being positive. It is having faith in the Lord at all times and knowing without a doubt that victory is here to stay and God’s promises are true. It is having the blessed assurance that God is faithful and we have nothing to worry about. Starting the day with doubt and worry is what the enemy wants us to experience. We need the bell. We need to sound the victory of Jesus Christ. We need to let God be God and let our faith move mountains. I ring the bell of victory a few times a day. I pause and declare that I am more than an overcomer in Christ who strengthens me. You can ring the bell as often as you would like. You can sing a song of praise and make the bell sound louder. You can step out of the zone of doubt and step into the realm of victory with your words. Choose the words of victory every day. Ring the bell at the end of the day and end the day on a victory note. Ring the bell of hope, of faith, of love and of joy. Greater is the Lord that is in you than the devil that is in this world. Stay strong in the Lord and ring that bell. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!
