Come hell and high water

Come hell or high water you are going to be fine. Going through hell is a terrible experience but because you trust in Jesus, you have to remember that you are not going through hell alone. Hell might sit on top of your life for some time but it won’t destroy you. The enemy comes to only steal and destroy and he causes hell to break loose so he can break your spirit or he can hurt you. He wants you to get weak and the hell you are going through is an evil technique that won’t work if you hold on to faith. See it as a test. See it as a trial that is not going to get the best of you. You can learn to go through hell and come out victorious. How do you do that? Like I always say, start with your head. Start with how you’re thinking about things. Start with getting into a calm space mentally. Start with taking every thought captive with the Word of God. There are many verses about what to do when life is hard to bear. The number one thing is to let the Lord bear your burden. Give Him all the feelings and emotions that are eating you inside.

Every time I go through hell or high waters, I need a moment to recoup. I am only human and things can take me aback just like anyone else. However, I find my footing in the Lord. I don’t let much time pass without claiming Jesus as my Savior. I strongly suggest that you do that. When you are facing hell, you need a strong reminder that you are on the side of Heaven and hell is not your dwelling. You have to declare with authority that Jesus is your Lord and Savior and He won’t let you down. He won’t abandon you on the side of the road so you can rot in hell. No. Jesus will pick you up and drive you to a better place. The whole time He is driving you, He is comforting you and blowing His love all over you so you can withstand the heat of hell. You are going to find yourself in a better place. You are going to be more at peace when you count on the Lord. Call on Him out loud and declare His authority out loud. He is the opposite of hell and He knows how to get you into His courts where there is so much joy and no grief. Your tears and your pain will go away. You are going to travel from hell to Heaven on earth. When Jesus gets involved, everything changes.

Hell and high waters will try to drown you and they can look very scary but there is something you need to think about. Hell and high waters are scared of Jesus. They are scared of the Lord but as long as they can appear to be bigger than Him in your mind, they will win. They have no power over the Lord so they do their best to scare you and make you want to drop your faith and run away. The enemy is scared of Jesus. Have you ever thought about that? The enemy was defeated on the cross but he is the prince of this world until Jesus comes back. However, that doesn’t mean that he is the prince of you and that his defeat is nullified every time he comes into your life with his loud negativity and his ugly face. Hell is not stronger than God. Your circumstances and your bad break are not bigger than God. Every time you stand strong on your faith in Jesus, the enemy shakes in his boots but he won’t show it to you unless you resist him. When you do, he will flee so keep on using the name of Jesus against hell and high waters. You will stay afloat and you will move from bad to good and good to great. Don’t fear and don’t worry. The Lord has your back through hell and high waters. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!
