Saying that Monday is the hardest day of the week for a lot of people is an understatement. Getting yourself going and motivated on a Monday morning can be very difficult. Some people even experience the harshness that comes with Monday morning as early as Sunday afternoon. Monday seems to be a bear. It’s like a big animal that weighs tons and that lies on your back preventing you from getting up and from walking. Monday can be paralyzing but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Lord is with us on Monday just as much as He is with us on the weekend. Days don’t faze Him. Days don’t change Him. He changes the day. He will make your Monday your best day of the week if you let Him or as good a day as all the other days. There is hope for you today to have an amazing Monday. God has hope for you every day. It doesn’t matter what the day is, God’s hope is available in abundance. The hope of a great Monday is here today. Don’t let your Monday take God’s hope away from you. Start your Monday with hope and end your Monday with hope. Start your Monday with God and end your Monday with God!
On this Monday, tell the Lord “My hope is in You and You alone. Monday is here and so are You so great things will take place today. Thank You Lord for this awesome Monday.” This prayer/declaration is good for every day. I suggest that is how you start your day every day during prayer. You need to impress your mind with the truth that God is going to bless you today and that today is the day the Lord has made so you are going to rejoice. Hit your fears of Monday with your faith in God. Paralyze the fears with the power of hope. Fears don’t allow hope into your mind and heart but hope can oust out fears when it is based in the Lord. God’s hope is much stronger than your fears but the enemy doesn’t want you to know that. God’s hope is a light that shines in every darkness no matter how obscure it is. Cling on to God’s hope first thing in the morning. Cling on to the light of hope and the noise of darkness in your head will disappear. There is enough hope to go around in the Lord for every single day of your life and more. Trust that the supply of hope from the Lord is unlimited.
When God is your hope, the enemy doesn’t stand a chance. He might try to derail you and make you fall but your hope will get you back up and get you going again. Your day might be starting off the wrong way but the God of hope will make a way so your day turns into a great day. Don’t let a bad start intimidate you. Don’t let bad news make you think that you have a bad life. For every bad news there is news that transcends time. The good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ defeats all bad news. There is hope today because of the good news of Jesus. He said that He had come to set the captives free, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind. The Monday blues will attempt to keep you in a prison of confusion, bitterness and sadness. Jesus came to set you free. You are not staying in that prison. Monday is going to be a wonderful day because your wonderful Lord is going to hang out with you all day. Thank the Lord for your Monday with Him. Thank Him for spending the day with Him. Thank Him because with Him you can face all of Monday. Thank Him because Monday is the day He created just for you to enjoy. You have the hope of freedom today Monday. God’s promises are the same every day. Hope is here to stay because Jesus is here to stay. Enjoy your Monday!
