The best is yet to come 

Jesus came to bring good news to the world. He didn’t come to condemn but He came to love more than any human can love. If Jesus were to appear to you today, He would say that He loves you and that you should take heart (have courage) because the best is yet to come. He wouldn’t say that you are going to suffer for a long time or that you have to earn your blessings. No! No. Jesus gives freely and He is the bearer of good news. Always! Today I am here to be a messenger and a reminder of the promise that good things are coming and the best is yet to come. You have seen nothing yet. If you think your best days are behind you, think again. God can blow your mind in an instant. In less than a half second He can turn your situation around. In less than a half second He can propel you to heights that you thought you would never reach in life. You see, Jesus specializes in blessings, in love and in the impossible. He is not like anyone you know. When He whispers to your heart, through the Holy Spirit, that it’s going to be ok, He means it and more. Now “ok” is an average word and our God is not average. He is average only if that’s how you perceive Him. In that case average is what you will get. I am talking miracle making, earth shuttering God here. God is going to do for you more than all the people you know in your life combined. He is going to open doors that no man can shut. He is going to pour love into you that you have never felt before. He is going to bless your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your co-workers just because you know Him and you trust Him. My advice to you today is start dreaming. Start dreaming big. Put action to your faith by expecting great things. The bigger the dream the more you are expanding your perception of who God is. He is larger than life and larger than any obstacle you will ever encounter. If pain and sorrow have been on your menu daily lately, prepare yourself for the filet mignon of joy and peace. Start salivating for the best spiritual dishes possible. If you have never known love, if you haven’t found the job of your dreams, if you can’t get your siblings to accept the Lord, know that the best is yet to come. Not only can God give you the mate of your life but He can also give you the best family you could get. With God on your side, you can land the job of a lifetime. Jesus wants to do exceedingly more than you expect. Ephesians 3:20 is a great verse to memorize and to hold on to: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” With God, the sky is not the limit. There are no limits. I have seen it time and time again in my life and my wish is to believe for more and more and more. My confession is remaining steadfast. I will continue to proclaim that the best is yet to come. 

1 Corinthians 2:9 is another verse that will boost your confidence in the great things to come: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”[a]—the things God has prepared for those who love him.” God will do for you what your human mind hasn’t conceived it. Friend, let’s stay in faith. Let’s continue to trust and love the Lord. Let’s be conduits of His love and let’s pursue the things from above. Before you know it, the best will come and the Lord will be glorified for being so faithful and true. If you are getting discouraged, think about what’s in store for you. The best is yet to come!
